Notification No. 63 / 2001-Customs
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No.17/2001-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2001, namely :-
In the said notification, in the List 18A, for item number (9) and the entry relating thereto, the following item number and entry shall be substituted, namely:-
"(9) Shuttleless loom (air jet, water jet, rapier, projectile and narrow width high speed needle)".

Note .- The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India vide notification No.17/2001-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2001 (G.S.R.116(E), dated the 1st March, 2001) and was last amended by notification No. 62/2001-Customs dated the 7th June, 2001 (G.S.R.416 (E), dated the 7th June, 2001 ).
