Notification No. 45 /2017-Customs (N.T.)
New Delhi, dated the 11th May, 2017
G.S.R. (E)---- In exercise of powers conferred by section 157 of the Customs
Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the
following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the
Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 142/2016-Customs (N.T.) dated
the 29th November, 2016 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part
II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 1099 (E) dated the 29th
November, 2016, namely:
In the said notification, for the Note, the following shall be substituted,
namely:-
“Note:- The Principal regulations were published vide notification number
87/98-Cus. (N.T.) dated the 9th November , 1998 and G.S.R. 662 (E) dated the 9th
November, 1998 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (i) and last amended by notification
No. 62/2015- Customs (N.T.)
dated 17th June, 2015 vide G.S.R. 501(E), dated the 17th June, 2015 in the
Gazette of India.”.
