PUBLIC NOTICE NO.14 (RE: 2007)/2004-2009
NEW DELHI: DATED: 09/07/2007
- In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ additions/deletions/corrections in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended from time to time
- In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms (SION) as contained in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2), 2004-2009, as amended from time to time, amendments/corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in ANNEXURE "A” (Pages 2-5 ) to this Public Notice are made.
- In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:-
ENGINEERING PRODUCTS
After the existing SION entry at Sl. No. C2034, new entries at Sl. Nos. C2035 to C2037 and new Engineering Tables No. 9(6), 9(7), and 9(8) are added as per Annexure “B” (Pages 6-8) to this Public Notice.
PLASTICS PRODUCTS
General Notes for Plastics Products (Product Code: H) is added as per Annexure “C” (Page 9) to this Public Notice.
This issues in public interest.

GENERAL NOTES FOR PLASTICS PRODUCTS
(PRODUCT CODE: H)
- In case where the input(s) required for the manufacture of the resultant export product have norms from further basic stage(s) for manufacture of one or more of such inputs, the licence can be issued by using these norms (excluding packing material, if any) in place of such inputs, for manufacture of the resultant export product.
