Amendments/corrections in the Book titled Schedule of DEPB rates

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Book titled �Schedule of DEPB rates�.
Product Group: Engineering - Product Code: 61
The amendment in the description of the export product appearing at Sl. No.484 published vide Public Notice No.44 dated 31.10.2001 as � Industrial Valve (cast or forged body)� is made effective from 31.3.2001.
Product Group: Chemicals - Product Code:62
The description of export product appearing at Sl. No.958 is amended to read as �Calcium Hypochlorite Hydrated�.
This issues in public interest.
