NOTIFICATION NO. 48 (RE-2007)/2004-2009
NEW DELHI, DATED 12th November, 2007
- S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2004-2009, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in FTP, 2004-2009 (RE 2006).
- The following sentence stands added at the end of paragraph 2.31 of FTP:-
“Government of India officials proceeding abroad on official postings shall, however, be permitted to carry alongwith their personal baggage, food items (free, restricted or prohibited) strictly for their personal consumption.”
- This issues in Public interest.
