PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 121 (RE-2008)/2004-2009
NEW DELHI, DATED THE 24th December, 2008
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy
2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following
amendments in Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I (RE 2008):
- In Appendix 37D, in Table 10, for Market Linked Focus Products, the following
amendments are made:-
(i) Sl.No. 9 in Table 10 is amended to read as under:-

(ii) Sl.No. 10 in Table 10 is amended to read as under:-

(iii) In the Column for Linked Market(s) for Focus product(s) / sector(s) in
Table 10, linked to Focus Product Codes 10.1 to 10.10, Algeria is added to the
list of linked markets.
- Consequently, export of above mentioned products destined to specified linked
markets will be entitled to benefit under Para 3.10.7 of Foreign Trade Policy
(RE-2008)/2004-2009 for exports made w.e.f 1.4.2008.
- The following note is inserted in Table 10 for Focus Product Codes 10.2 to
10.10:
“The products covered under Focus Product Codes 10.2 to 10.10 must be for use in
bicycles only and the exporter, therefore, must submit documentary proof to that
effect to the RA”.
