Amendments in Para 2.32 - Import of Second hand Goods/Waste Scrap/ Seconds/ Rags
|
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), 2004-09 :-
(1) In Para 2.32 (i) the following paragraph will be added :
�c) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Paragraphs above, import of scrap will be allowed only in shredded form from the ports listed in Annexure - II to Appendix - V of the Handbook of Procedures.�
(2) The following Annexure will be included in the Handbook of Procedures :
Annexure � II to Appendix � V
List of Port of Shipment from where only shredded metallic scrap will be allowed in terms of Para 2.32 of the Handbook of Procedures
(i) Bandar Abbas, Iran.
