NOTIFICATION No.35 (RE-2008)/2004-09

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule-I (Imports) to the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09:

1. Import Licensing Note No, (2) inserted at the end of Chapter 25, vide Notification No. 17 (RE-2007)/ 2004-09 dated 26th July 2007, as amended from time to time, will be amended to read as follows:

“Import of marble will be subject to the conditions laid down in Policy Circular No.12 (RE-08)/2004-2009 date 27.06.2008, Policy Circular No.13 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 30.6.2008, Policy Circular No.20(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 16.07.2008, Policy Circular No.25 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 08.08.2008 and Policy Circular No. 28 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 20.08.2008”.

2. This issues in public interest.
