Amendments in SION
Public Notice No. 40 dated 1st October 2001
Attention is invited to Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended and Paragraphs 7.8 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997-2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended from time to time.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/modifications and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended.
3. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure "A� to this Public Notice shall be made.
4. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:-
CHEMICALS AND ALLIED PRODUCTS
After the existing entry at Sl.No.A-2760, the new entries at Sl.No.A-2761 to A-2779 shall be added as per Annexure �B� to this Public Notice.
ENGINEERING PRODUCTS
After the existing entry at Sl.No.C-1694, the new entries at Sl.No.C-1695 to C-1699 shall be added as per Annexure �C� to this Public Notice.
TEXTILE PRODUCTS
After the existing entry at Sl. No. J-347, the new entries at Sl.No.J-348 to J-349 shall be added as per Annexure �D� to this Public Notice.
MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTS
After the existing entry at Sl.No. K-141, the new entries at Sl.No.K-142 to K-144 shall be added as per Annexure �E� to this Public Notice.
5. This issues in public interest.
Besides, the following norms have been altered/ amended/ deleted vide this public notice:

Engineering Products:
C206, C348, C689, C933, C1393, C1579, C1580, C1581, C1637, C1662;
Food Products: E45;
Plastic Products: p2, p68, H416;
Textile Products:
J96, J250, J314;
Miscellaneous Products: K122, K123, K124;
All these amendments have been incorporated in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. II). To view these changes, go to appropriate book sections.
