Notification No.119/ 2011 – Customs
New Delhi, dated the 29th December, 2011
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with section 91 and 94 of
the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2004 (23 of 2004), the Central Government, on being
satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the
following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in
the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue),
No. 69/2004-Customs, dated the
9th July, 2004 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide G.S.R. 411
(E), dated the 9th July, 2004, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table, against S. No. 4, for the entry in
column (2), the entry “Areca nut falling under subheading 0802 80” shall be
substituted.
2. This notification shall come into force with effect from 1st January, 2012.
