Anti-Dumping Duty: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) export
originating from Korea RP and Germany
WHEREAS the designated authority vide notification published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1, dated the 1st day
of October, 2001, has initiated review in the matter of continuation of
anti-dumping duty on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) originating in,
or exported from, Korea RP and Germany, imposed vide notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.
91/2001-Customs, dated the 7th September, 2001 [G.S.R. 649 (E), dated
the 7th September, 2001] and has requested for suitable extension of
anti-dumping duty, pending the results of the review investigations;
NOW, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections
(1), (5) and (6) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975),
read with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and
Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of
Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment
in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance
(Department of Revenue), No. 91/2001-Customs, dated the 7th
September, 2001 namely:-
In the said notification, in the paragraph 2, for the words, figures
and letters "the 30th day of January, 2002", the words,
figures and letters "the 30th day of July, 2002" shall be
substituted.
