Anti-Dumping Duty (Extension of Time Period): Acrylonitrile Butadiene
Rubber (NBR) originating in, or exported from, Korea RP and Germany
Notification No. 71 dated 22nd July 2002
WHEREAS the designated authority vide notification published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1, dated the 1st day
of October, 2001, has initiated review in the matter of continuation of
anti-dumping duty on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) originating in, or
exported from, Korea RP and Germany, imposed vide notification No. 91/
2001-Customs, dated the 7th September, 2001;
AND WHEREAS on the request of designated authority, the levy of
anti-dumping duty was extended till 30th July, 2002;
AND WHEREAS the designated authority has requested for further extension
of the anti-dumping duty by two months;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1),
(5) and (6) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read
with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of
Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules,
1995, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department
of Revenue), No. 91/ 2001-Customs, dated the 7th September, 2001,
namely: -
In
the said notification, in the second paragraph, for the words, figures and
letters "the 30th day of July, 2002", the words,
figures and letters "the 30th day of September, 2002"
shall be substituted.
