S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Import), New Custom House, Mumbai to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on:-

1.  the Additional / Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharla Nehru Port Trust, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra; and
   
   
2.  the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, ACC, Sahar, Mumbai,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s. Shree Maruti Nandan Impex, K-12-13, Maruti Industrial Estate, Near Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple, Pandesara, Surat - 394221 issued vide, F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-07/2008, dated the 10th December, 2008, by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Rupen Bungalow, Jain Merchant Society, Near Mahalaxmi Cross Road, Paldi Ahmedabad – 380 007.
