S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Near Akashwani, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on:-

1. the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharla Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra; and
   
   
2. the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Import), Ballard Estate, Mumbai,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s. Hi-Growth Importer and Exporters, 202-B, Shri Hari Park, Behind Centre Point, Ring Road, Surat and others issued vide, F.No. DRI/SRU/INV-03/2008, dated the 16th November, 2008, by the Additional Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Repen Bungalow, Jain Merchant Society, Near Mahalaxmi Cross Road, Paldi Ahmedabad – 380 007.
