NOTIFICATION NO. 73 /2007-Customs (N.T.)

S.O. (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Container Freight Station, Tirugmurgan Poondi, Ring Road, AVC School, Chettipalayam Village, Tirupur, and authorised him to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on,

1. the Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo Complex, Meenambakkam, Chennai – 27; and
   
   
2. the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Inland Container Depot, Tirupur, Rakkiapalayam (Post Office), Tirupur,

for the purposes of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s Shakthi Knitting Limited, 3/606-C, Nochipalayam Road, Veerapandi Post, Tiruppur 641605, Tirupur issued, vide, F.No. INV/DGCEI/CHZU/13/2005/110, dated the 28th February 2006, by the Deputy Director, Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence, Regional Unit,386A, Pankaja Mill Road, Ramanathapurm, Coimbatore – 641 045.
