Public Notice No. 53 dated 28th October 1997
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997 -2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary. Part-II-section 3- Sub-section (ii) vide S.O. No. 283(E) dated 31.3.97, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies the rates in respect of items given in the Annexure I to this Public Notice and also amends the description and/ or rate or credit in respect of items given in Annexure II to this Public Notice. The Annexures will form part of Appendix 28A of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), 1997-2002.
This issues in public interest.
