Export of Non-Durum Wheat as Relief Supplies

Attention
is invited to the entry at SI. No. 12(ii) of Schedule 2 Appendix 1 of the book
titled "ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1997
-2002",

To
meet the request from the International Red Cross Society, Peshawar office
for export of 13,200 MTs of wheat from India to Afghanistan, it has been
decided to permit the export of 13,200 MTs of Non-durum wheat for export to
Afghanistan against RCACs to be issued by APEDA in favour of M/ s Projects
& Equipment Corporation of India Ltd. It has also been decided to permit
the export of further quantity of 20,000 MTs of Non-durum wheat to
Afghanistan on receipt o~ firm order by PEC from United Nations World Food
Programme.

After the necessary
action, the. APEDA will report to EP (Agri,. II) Section of Ministry of
Commerce under intimation to Statistical Division of this office.
