Export of Onions
Notification No. 22 dated 3rd
July 2000
In exercise of the
powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation)
Act, 1992 (No, 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the, Export and
Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2000), the
Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC (HS)
Classification of Export and Import item, 97-2002 published on 31st
March, 1997-(RE-98) as amended from time to time.
In entry at ITC (HS)
Code No. 0703(1) of Schedule-2, Table-B relating to export of Onion (All
varieties other than Bangalore rose" onions and. Krishnapuram Rose onions),
the last date of shipment mentioned in paragraph (iv) of Notification No.11
(RE-2000)/ 1997 -2002 dated 26th April, 2000 read with Notification
No, 16(RE-2000)/ 1997-2002 dated the 17th May, 2000 and Notification
No, 17(RE-2000)/ 97-2000 dated 26-5-2000 shall be amended to read as under:
However in respect of
NOCs issued in the month of May 2000, shipment of exports can take place till 31st
July 2000.
This issues in Public Interest.
