Export of Restricted Items - Milk/ baby milk, pulses, lentils, grams, and
their flour and castor seed

No. 23 dated 1st December 1997
In
exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 5 of the Foreign Trade
(Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3
of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes
the following amendment in the Export & Import Policy, 1997-2002.
2. In Chapter 16, Part II, Paragraph 16.2-
restricted items (Exports Permitted under Licence), the following amendments
shall be made in the entries at SI. Nos. 13, 15 and 19:
(a) the entry at S.No. 13 relating to Milk,
baby milk and sterilised liquid milk shall be deleted;
(b) the
entry at S.No. 15 relating to pulses, all types shall be amended to read as:
"Pulses, all types, including lentils, grams, beans and flour made
therefrom except those in consumer packs upto 5 kgs."
(c) under
the entry at S.No. 19, the item Castor Seed shall be deleted.
