Import Classification of Second-hand Marine Containers

No. 10 dated 12th July 2002
In
exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade
(Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the
Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007, the Central Government hereby makes the
following amendments in the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items,
2002-2007 published on 31st March, 2002 as amended from time to time,
namely- at the end of Chapter-86 of the said ITC (HS) Classification of Export
& Import items, 2002-2007, a new import licensing note shall be inserted as
follows: -

licensing notes:
(1)
The Exim entry under ITC (HS) Code No. 86090000 in this Chapter shall also
include �second hand marine containers� and imports thereof shall be free.
This
