PUBLIC NOTICE No. 46/2015-20

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade hereby includes the Following agencies in Appendix 2G of Appendices and Aayat Niryat Forms of Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20 in terms of Para 2.55 (d) of IMP 2015-20 with immediate effect :-

2. The above agencies arc recognized for issuing pre-shipmerit Inspection Certificates as per provision of Para 2.55(e) of HBP 2015-20 from the date of issue of this Public Notice. The PSIC scheme itself is going to end once the equipments are installed in all the entry ports. The last date for such action by different ports is 31.12.2019. Hence the PSIAs approved shall have validity period of 03 years or till such time to be notified by DGFT, whichever is earlier. Details of approved spctrometers and survey meters for issuance of PSIC by these agencies are annexed.

3.The above listed Pre-shipment Agencies are allowed time upt0 9.12.2019 to submit Bank Guarantee (if not already submitted), failing which they will be de-notified without further notice.

4. The notified PSIA’S must ensure to update their membership certificate of MRAI/SRI/IFIA and their office address and contact details from time to time as required.

Effeets of this public notice: Additional Agencies arc notified as PSIAs, validity of existing PSIAs has been extended, additional area of operation and instruments have been added for the existing PSIA
