Input - Output Norms Further Added/ Amended
Public Notice No. 49 dated 1st January 2001
Attention is invited to Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended and Paragraphs 7.8 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997-2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended from time to time.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ modifications and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended.
3. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure "A� to this Public Notice shall be made.
4. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:
Chemicals and Allied Products:
After the existing entry at Sl.No.A-2515, the new entries from Sl.No.A-2516 to A-2525 shall be added as per Annexure �B� to this Public Notice.
Engineering Products:
After the existing entry at Sl.No.C-1577, the new entries from Sl.No.C-1578 to A-1582 shall be added as per Annexure �C� to this Public Notice.
Food Products:
After the existing entry at Sl.No.E-89, the new entries Sl.No.E-90 to E-93 shall be added as per Annexure �D� to this Public Notice.
Plastic Products:
After the existing entry at Sl.No.H-434, the new entry Sl.No.H-435 shall be added as per Annexure �E� to this Public Notice.
5. This issues in public interest.

Besides, the following norms have been altered/ amended/ deleted vide this Public Notice:
