Issuance of RCACs to Sugar mills/ exporters of sugar by APEDA
Public Notice No. 8 dated 20th April 2001
Attention is invited to the entry at Code No. 1701 of Table �B� of Schedule 2 and Sr. No. 25 of Schedule 2 Appendix-1 of the book title �ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002� (incorporating amendments made upto 31.8.1998) and as amended from time to time specifying the terms and conditions for export items indicated therein.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001) and as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade has decided that the RCACs may be issued to the Sugar mills/ exporters of sugar by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority on production of firm and valid contract orders until the quantitative ceiling is notified.
