Public Notice No. 35 dated 1^st September 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 Of the Export & Import Policy 1997-2002, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule 2 Appendix I of the Book Titled " ITC (HS) Classification of Export & Import Items 1997-2002."

2.      The following shall be added after Sl. No. 2(viii) of the Schedule 2 Appendix I of the Book Titled " ITC (HS) Classification of Export & Import Items 1997-2002."

2(ix) 1-Phenyl-2 Propanone & 3, 4-Methylenedioxyphenyl-2-Propane.

2(X) Methyl Ethyl Ketone & Potassium Permanganate.

3.      The condition at Sl. No. 2(ii) of the Schedule 2 Appendix 1 of the "ITC (HS) Classification of Export & Import Items 1997-2002." i.e. no objection certificate from the Narcotics Commissioner of India, Gwalior in respect of items 2(i) and 2(viii) shall be amended to read as under:

" No objection certificate from the Narcotics Commissioner of India, Gwalior in respect of items 2(i), 2(viii), 2(ix) & 2(x)."
