This
notification has been withdrawn vide notification no. 13 dated 21st
May 2001.
In exercise of powers
conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act,
1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002,
the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC (HS)
Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 published on 31st
March, 1997 (RE-98), as amended from time to time, namely -
1.
Import of items as indicated at Sl. Nos. 164 to 191 of Annexure to
Notification No. 11 (RE-2001)/97-02 dated 2-5-2001, shall be allowed from the
following seaports, in addition to the Seaports/ Airports/ ICDs indicated in the
paragraph 1 of the aforementioned notification:
Seaports:
Bedi, Haldia, Kakinada, Kandla, Marmagoa, New Mangalore, Mundra
and Jamnagar.
