In
exercise of powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign Trade
(Development and Regulation) Act, 1992
(No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy,
1997-2002 (incorporating amendment
made upto 31.3.99), the Central Government hereby makes following amendments in
the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002: (incorporating
amendment made upto 31.3.99):
The
following amendments shall be made in Notification No. 19
(RE-99)/97-2002 dated 8.7.99 and in Notification No. 25 (RE-99)/97-2002
dated 13.8.99: the entry at ITC (HS) Code no. 0703 in ITC (HS) Classifications
of Export and Imports items (97-2002),
incorporating amendment made upto 31st August, 98) at Schedule 2,
Table B, shall be amended to read as under:
