In exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of section 2 of the
Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the
Central Excise (No. 2) Rules, 2001, the Central Board of Excise and Customs
hereby invests the Commissioner of Customs (Appeals), Delhi, with all powers of
the Commissioner of Central Excise (Appeals), Delhi under the said Act and rules
made thereunder.
