In
exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development
& Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of
the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002(incorporating amendment made up to
31.3.2000), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the
ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 published on 31st
March, 1997- (RE-98) as amended from time to time.
In
entry at ITC (HS) Code No. 0703 (1) of Schedule-2, Table-B relating to export of
Onions (All varieties other than Bangalore rose Onions and Krishnapuram Rose
Onions), the last date for shipment of quantity of Onions released vide
Notification No. 31 (RE-2000)/ 1997-2002 dated 24th August, 2000 is
extended to � 30.11.2000�.
