Recession of Various Excise Notifications
Central Excise Notification No. 17 dated 1st
March 2003
In
exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central
Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the
Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957 (58 of
1957), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the
public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the
Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of
Revenue), namely: -

970 (E), dated the 9th December 1987,
2.
No. 10/98-Central Excise, dated the 2nd June 1998, G.S.R. 305
(E), dated the 2nd June 1998,

787 (E), dated the 26th November 1999,
4.
No. 13/2000-Central Excise, dated the 1st March 2000, G.S.R.
191 (E), dated the 1st March 2000,
