Regarding Fraudulent Exports by M/s Sandeep Exports & Others to Avail
Higher Duty Drawback and DFRC Benefits

ICD, Tughlakabad has reported cases of attempted fraudulent export of hand tools
and HSS Hacksaw cutters by M/s. Sandeep Exports & Other against DFRC-cum-Drawback
shipping bills where the exporters attempted to avail higher drawback and DFRC
benefits by mis-declaring and the weight and value of the export goods. Actual
physical examination of the export consignments revealed that the actual weight
of the goods under export was approximately 30% of the declared weight.
Exporters would have availed excess drawback and DFRC benefits in case they had
succeeded in their efforts. The names of the exporters involved are M/s. Sandeep
Exports, 1612, Model Town, Kapurthala, Punjab, Mansi Exports, RAG Exports, IG
Exports, Gitika Enterprises, Ambay Trading and Classic Group of Industries.

The aforesaid modus operandi is brought to your notice to prevent its
recurrence. Customs field officers under your charge may be suitably alerted
about the modus operandi.
