In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) as amended from time to time and in accordance with the Order No.18/1/2006-FT (EA) dated 31st May, 2007 issued by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India, declaring the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) as ‘Designating Authority’ for registering Conformity Assessment Bodies, the Director General of Foreign Trade, hereby registers and notifies M/s. TUV SUD PSB Pte Ltd. as Conformity Assessment Body in Singapore for certification to meet India’s requirements under Singapore-India Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) for Electrical & Electronic sector under the Mutual Recognition Agreement as per the Certificate of Registration attached.
