In
exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Customs
Act, 1962, (52 of 1962), the Board, being satisfied that it is necessary and
expedient so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department
of Revenue), No. 36/ 2001- Customs (NT), dated the 3rd August, 2001,
namely: -

Notification No. 73/2002-Cus (NT), dated 26th November 2002
The
Board has issued Customs Notification No. 73/2002 � Cus (NT), dated 26th
November 2002 revising tariff value on Crude Palm Oil at US$ 432 PMT, RBD Palm
Oil at US$ 460 PMT, RBD Palmolein at US$ 470 PMT, Crude Palmolein at US$ 454
PMT. This Notification has been issued under Section 14(2) of the Customs Act
1962 and takes immediate effect.

You are kindly requested to issue necessary instructions to all officers
under your jurisdiction for necessary action. A copy of the notification is
enclosed.
