Soft Copy of Manual Applications. Amendment in documentation for
Redemption under AL for DE, Addition of Four New AEZ's

Notice No. 34 dated 13th September 2002
In
exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import
Policy, 2002-07, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the
following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1): -
1)
The following is added as the end of para 2.5 pertaining to the �Filing
of Application�:
However
in case of manual applications, the applicant would furnish a soft copy (on a
1.44� floppy disk) of the application in MS word format.
2)
Para 4.25 (i) pertaining to deemed exports is amended as under:
A copy of the invoice or a copy of ARE-3 (in case of
supplies to EOU/ EPZ/ SEZ) duly signed by the unit receiving the material and
their jurisdictional excise authorities certifying the item of supply, quantity,
value and date of supply.
3)
The following additions are made in Appendix 15 pertaining to �Agri
Export Zone�
