NOTIFICATION NO.53 (RE-06)/2004-2009, Dated, 9TH MARCH, 2007
S.O.(E) – In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 (as amended from time to time), the Central Government hereby substitutes the Notification No.17(RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 03.07.2006 and No.19(RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 04.07.2006 respectively by the following:
- “The period of validity of prohibition on exports of Pulses (except kabuli chana) shall be extended up to 31.03.2008.
- The transitional arrangements under Para 1.5 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended from time to time, shall not be applicable for export of Pulses.
The above (i) and (ii) shall be inserted in paragraph 3 of Notification No.15(RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 27.06.2006.
