In
pursuance of paragraph 2 of the notification of the Government of India in the
erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 14/ 2002 - Central
Excise (NT) dated 8th March 2002 and in supersession of Notification
No. 34/ 2002 - Central Excise (NT) dated the 1st October 2002 the
Central Board of Excise and Customs notifies that Notification No. 14/ 2002 -
Central Excise (NT) dated the 8th March, 2002 shall come into effect
on and from the 1st day of November 2002.
