Notification No. 7 /2009-Central Excise (N.T.)
New Delhi dated the April 17, 2009
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 3 of
the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby
makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of
India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue)
number 14/2002-Central
Excise (N.T.), dated the 8th March, 2002, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), vide number G.S.R. 182(E),
dated the 8th March, 2002, namely:-
In the said notification,-
(i) in Table I, against serial number 19, in column (3), for the entry “(iv)
Pune-II”, the entry, “(iv) Kolhapur ” shall be substituted;
(ii) in Table II,-
(a) after serial number 43, and entries relating thereto, the following shall be
inserted, namely:-
“43A Kolhapur In the districts of Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Sangli, Kolhapur and
Satara of the State of Maharashtra. ”;
(b) serial number 70 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
(iii) in Table III,-
(a) against serial number 25, in column (3), for the entry “(iii) Pune-II”, the
entry
“(iii) Kolhapur ” shall be substituted;
(b) against serial number 53, in column (3), for the entry “(iii) Pune-II”, the
entry “ (iii) Kolhapur ” shall be substituted;
(c) against serial number 54, in column (3), for the entry “(iii) Pune-II”, the
entry “ (iii) Kolhapur ” shall be substituted;
(d) against serial number 55, in column (3), for the entry “(iii) Pune-II”, the
entry “ (iii) Kolhapur ” shall be substituted;

notification number 14/2002-Central Excise (N.T.),dated the
8th March, 2002 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II,
Section 3, Sub-section(i), vide number G.S.R.182 (E), dated the 8th March, 2002,
and the same was subsequently amended vide
notification number 22/2002-Central
Excise (N.T.) dated the 4th June, 2002 vide number G.S.R. 403(E), dated the 4th
June, 2002 and was last amended vide notification No. 06/2009- Central Excise
(N.T.), dated the 30th March, 2009, which was published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), vide number G.S.R. 221(E),
dated the 30th March, 2009.
